Segway Navimow X450 AWD Robotic Lawn Mower

Coming from the X315 on a previous property, the X450 is noticeably more capable but also slightly louder at 68 dB versus 60. Still far quieter than any gas mower. The dual-disc deck and AWD make it a completely different class of machine. Handles everything our 1.4-acre property throws at it including wet grass on the hill. Four stars only because the price is steep but you get what you pay for.

I was spending $4,000+ a year between the zero-turn maintenance and fuel. The X450 handles our entire 1.5 acres including the steep front slope that was dangerous to ride mow. It runs on a schedule, it does not need gas, oil, or belts, and the cut quality is better because it mows every other day instead of once a week. The Segway Navimow paid for itself faster than I expected.

Did my research and found out the X450 and X430 are identical hardware with different coverage limits. We have 1.3 acres with serious hills, so the extra capacity buffer made sense. Runs beautifully. AWD handles our 30+ degree slopes without slipping. If your property is over an acre and hilly, this is the one. No question.
